Welcome to our office!!!  One of our main goals is to provide you and your child a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. We emphasize a team approach consisting of your child, parents, dentist and staff so that your child’s dental experience will be rewarding, informative and long lasting.  We have an “open door” policy where the parent may accompany their child as an observer during the dental visit or as a participant as the occasion arises.

  About our Doctor

Walden Yu was born and raised in Southern California.  He graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and received his dental degree from USC.  His post-graduate education in Pediatric Dentistry was completed at USC with a hospital residency at Long Beach Memorial Hospital. 

Dr. Yu is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is a Subect Matter Expert in Pediatric Dentistry for the State of California.  Dr. Yu is a member of various dental organizations including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, West Los Angeles Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Academy of Laser Dentistry and is a member of the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.  He enjoys tennis, hiking, camping, biking, leisure reading, tai chi and especially arts and crafts.   And "yes" he did put together all the décor and puzzles in the office.

From the moment you enter our office you'll feel like you're in the tropics.  Sandals are not required but you'll feel as if you want to put them on.  Our office theme transitions from the seashore, to under the sea and then to a nautical theme.  Throughout the office you'll also note a polynesian theme as well.

Our office provides different types of activities to amuse your child or even yourself.
